Dr. Hattan was born and raised in southern California. She moved to the east to attend Tufts Veterinary Medical School. She has owned Foster Veterinary Clinic since October 2000.
Dr. Hattan lives with her husband, two kids, golden retriever, "Abby", orange tabby, "Phineas", horses, "Belle, and Acorn", four gerbils, and some fish.
In her free time Dr. Hattan enjoys horseback riding and is a black belt in Tang Soo Do martial arts.
Heidi- Manager/Lead Veterinary Technician

Heidi has been a veterinarian technician since 1999. After attending Quinebaug Valley Community College she decided to go into veterinary medicine. She has worked along side numerous veterinarians and specialists over the years. In 2016 she started here as the hospital supervisor and surgical/lead technician.
She knew from a young age she wanted to work with animals. Growing up she worked with large animals on her grandparents farm.
In 2000 she went into breeding and showing bengal cats all around the US and Canada. She was featured on Animal Planets Cats 101 as well as numerous newspaper articles and even a NY Times best selling childrens book.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and is an avid follower of local music in New England..She is owned by her Great Dane, and her 3 purebred cats.

Ruth- Lead Receptionist

Ruth has been the lead receptionist at Foster Veterinary Clinic for 11 years. She attended Quinebaug Valley Community College, where she received her certificates in medical office skills and data processing. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her three children and her feline family.

Timiya Marineau- Veterinary Technician

Timiya joined Foster Veterinary Clinic in 2017. She was born and raised
on a farm showing and caring for livestock including horses, cattle, sheep,
chickens, ducks and more. She knew she wanted to work with animals
from a young age, which led her here to Foster Veterinary Clinic. In her
free time she enjoys the company of her ferret Rascal, her cat Belle, her
Australian Cattle Dog Radley, and her Pitbull Kiana.

Amy joined Foster Veterinary Clinic in 2016. Amy has been a veterinary assistant on and off for 15 years. Amy has had a love for animals all her life. She is extremely compassionate and goes above and beyond to help animals in need. She has been involved in rescue organizations around New England for many years and was also part of the organization that started the Putnam Dog park in Putnam, Connecticut.
In her free time Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends and her dog, Shyla and orange tabby, Spencer.
Sasha- Veterinary Assistant

Sasha is the newest member to join the Foster Veterinary Clinic team. After receiving her veterinary assistant certificate from Three Rivers College in 2015 she started to volunteer here. In 2016 she became a full time veterinary assistant at Foster Vet. Sasha has a passion for exotic animals, her pets consist of 2 hedgehogs, a ferret and her dog. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her pets.
