Dr. Catherine Malgieri

Veterinarian

Dr. Malgieri graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She was inducted into the Phi Zeta veterinary honor society prior to graduation. Dr. Malgieri is originally from the Florida Panhandle. She moved to Rhode Island with her husband and dachshund “Kaiser” in 2016. Her professional interests include preventive health care, animal behavior, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Malgieri previously served as the Director of Shelter Medicine for the Potter League for Animals. She completed specialized training in high quality, high volume spay and neuter (HQHVSN) techniques, as well as the Fear Free for Shelters certificate course. She serves on the board of the Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association.
