Brianna

Brianna is the Lead Veterinary Technician, which involves patient care, managing the veterinary technician team, and working as the head surgery technician. She completed her professional requirements from Craven County Community College, in New Bern, NC in 2016. She earned a Veterinary Assistant Technician certificate, and she participates in the continuing education that Dr. Hattan provides throughout the year. Her work at the clinic includes caring for and administering medications to hospitalized pets, checking patient vitals, taking radiographs, preparing surgical instruments, assisting in minor surgery and dental, collecting samples, and making sure preparations are ready for Dr. Hattan. She finds animals fascinating and animal health interesting, and she values her role in helping to be their voices. She finds fulfillment, especially in nursing sick patients to health and educating clients about health care. She notes that puppies and kittens add an element of fun. When not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new places.
